Dr. Stacy Stacy (yes, she has the same first and last names!) is a Georgia native who attended the University of Georgia for both undergraduate and veterinary school from which she graduated in 2003 (with her classmates Dr. Nath and Rogers here at PHAH). At that time, she married a guy named Chad Stacy-- thus taking on her unique double name. Upon leaving vet school, she worked as a mixed animal veterinarian at McDonough Animal Hospital and then moved to Decatur and worked at a busy 24-hour practice called the Village Vets of Decatur where she practiced for 15 years. She is thrilled to join the Peachtree Hills family with her fellow classmates and friends. Her professional interests include wellness and emergency and internal medicine but mostly she takes pride in communicating with clients and helping chaperone them through difficult decisions and times of stress.
Dr. Stacy lives in Decatur with her husband and 2 energetic children. In her free time, Dr. Stacy enjoys exercise, gardening, cooking, podcasts and downtime with friends and family.
Dr. Stacy's family includes 2 cats (Speedbump and Birdie), 2 dogs (Eloise and Lugnut) and 2 fish (whose names change daily).
