Dr. Katie Ray dreamed of becoming a veterinarian from an early age. She worked as a veterinary technician/assistant for many years during high school and college. With this experience, she knew wholeheartedly that her calling was to become a veterinarian.
Dr. Katie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Atlanta’s Emory University, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
She thrives on the variety and complexity family medicine has to offer. However, most of all she enjoys the lasting relationships she makes with the animals she cares for and the owners who love them.
Dr. Ray’s favorite pastimes include hanging out in the woods, hiking and relaxing with her husband and their little boy Orion.
Katie and her family have two dogs (Windsor and Jupiter) and 9 backyard chickens.
