Cayla Verrone is an animal lover dedicated to the well-being and humane treatment of animals. She grew up in Wayne, New Jersey before moving to the Atlanta area. Animals have been an inseparable part of her life since growing up with the late (but great!) Labrador retriever Samantha. After a career in business, she followed her passion for animal welfare by volunteering with the Homeless Pets Foundation and working in various animal care jobs. Outside of work, Cayla enjoys long walks on the beach, crafting, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and boyfriend Paul.
Cayla’s life is currently dictated by the lovable goofball Autumn, a 2-year-old pitbull rescue who fears squirrels, can’t quite figure out cats, and loves long walks on the Beltline. She also takes care of her family’s two golden retrievers, Bentley and Theo, and one cat Scopes.
