Dr. Tracy Navarra, DVM
Dr. Tracy grew up in Marietta, Georgia. After earning her BS in Biology from the University of Georgia, she graduated with highest honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
She then completed a one-year rotating small animal internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington D.C. She continued practicing in the D.C. area until the desire to be closer to family brought her back to Atlanta in 2016.
Dr. Navarra has a strong interest in internal medicine. She respects how complicated disease processes can be, and she dedicates her time and energy to creating thoughtful and thorough treatment plans for each unique patient. Additionally, she has advanced training in emergency/critical care, ultrasound, and ophthalmology.
“What has surprised me the most in my career was how much I loved working and getting to know the pets’ owners. I have always had a deep love for animals but witnessing and improving the bond between humans and their pets is truly the most rewarding part of my job.”
She is thrilled to be back in Georgia, and even more excited to have joined the dedicated team at Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital in 2020. Dr. Navarra lives in Decatur with her husband, Erich, and adventurous son, Finn.
Dr. Navarra currently shares her home with Stella, a 10-year-old lab and Chill, a very laid-back cat.
