TRAINING:
That Marvelous Dog now offers training for the family
pet. In late 2004, Debbie completed an 11-month program at the State
Certified Dog Academy. Based on this formation she created her own
training program with her original philosophy:
Providing dog training in a safe and
peaceful atmosphere with techniques that are effective and fun.
Debbie loves to tell her clients, "Many
trainers prefer to have all of the children and other family pets out of
the way during training.. not me! I love everyone getting involved and
seems to all work out best that way."
There is no weight limit for training classes.

3. CPT - Comprehensive Pet Therapy
CPT
Comprehensive Pet Therapy, Inc. (CPT) is Atlanta's most respected pet training company. Since its inception, CPT has trained over 45,000
client dogs, more than 45,000 human clients, and approximately 70
cats.
CPT's elite staff provides group classes, in-home private lessons, private lessons at the CPT Training Center, boarding training, agility training, household manners training, behavior modification training, assistance dog training for wheelchair bound and hearing disabled clients, puppy selection consultations, and expert witness
services.
CPT's experienced and accomplished staff includes a national
champion, a multi-time national placement winner, a regional champion, a
former television pet expert, persons who have trained dogs for movies and commercials, a certified expert witness in animal behavior, and competition title holders in obedience, tracking, agility, and other dog
sports. No facility's staff compares with the trainers assembled by
CPT.
Yet, on top of their aforementioned credentials, our staff members
main area of expertise is pet training- on and off-leash obedience, household manners (housebreaking, chewing, barking, digging, jumping, mouthing, et al.), and behavior modification (e.g., reduction of aggressive, anxious, or obsessive-compulsive behaviors). Moreover, we emphasize cognitive methods, rather than force, so that you and your dog
enjoy learning and training. Nevertheless, our trainers arrive well versed
in multiple methodologies, so that we can adapt the training style to the
characteristics and temperament of each client
dog and the preferences of
each human client. Furthermore, our trainers are adept communicators, who
are taught not only how to train dogs, but how to effectively educate people
in a manner that is both successful and fun.
